kde-touchpad-dbg software package provides touchpad configuration tool for KDE, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-touchpad-dbg
kde-touchpad-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-touchpad-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-touchpad-dbg *
You will get with kde-touchpad-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
